Patrick McConnell - Artistic Director
Born and raised in Staffordshire, since graduating from Birmingham School of Speech and Drama, Patrick has gone on to work nationally in both theatre and television.
Patrick was a founder member and resident writer of Random Productions working successfully out of the North West.
In 2006 Patrick wrote, starred in and directed A Story for when we’re Grandads which went on national tour and also played for a week at The Buxton Fringe Festival, where the show was nominated for Best Production and went on to win Patrick the Best New Writing award.
In 2007 Patrick wrote and starred in Playtime for the Suicidal at the Buxton Fringe Festival, and in early 2008 saw his production Dont Blink/Dont Breathe read during a research and development week at the Mitchell Memorial Theatre, Stoke on Trent.
Over the past year, Patrick has directed three short films and is about to go into pre production on his first feature film.
