The TeamFounded in 2007 Rotten Park Road are a Midlands- based production company dedicated to new writing, innovative theatre and film

An amalgamation of Midlands-based artists, the company joined forces to create new, challenging and entertaining work in a variety of mediums.

The company are influenced by artists from all mediums who live on the extremities of society; from musicians such as The Velvet Underground, Johnny Cash and Delta Blues Musicians, through to the gritty aesthetics of 1970s cinema and German Expressionism. Rotten Park Road's work ranges from the dark and hard-hitting through to the sadistically comic.
The company's first production, A Story for When Were Grandads, won the Best New Writing award at Buxton Fringe Festival and was nominated for best production. Since then it has been through a multimedia update, some of which can be seen on the media page.
