Operation Perfect Tea Set

Originally produced in 2018 and developed in 2020, our #ACEfunded

live comedy show "Operation Perfect Teaset's 80's Summer Camp"

About the Show:

Angela is socially awkward and wears glasses, but that all changes when she’s forced to stay at Camp Aztitz. “Camp” is a gleeful homage to every 80’s American Summer Camp film, from Dirty Dancing to Friday the 13th.

“I’ve never been so confused and yet strangely aroused at the same time” – Phil Ellis.

Sit back and enjoy the finest synthesised music in this gleeful exploitation of general garishness and poor taste.

History:

Back in 2015, Rotten Park Road joined forces with a few glorious associate artists to form Operation Perfect Teaset, a dark, surreal comedy sketch show. The only show to bring you poorly executed tap dance renditions of significant historical events!  -

“They don’t just tickle your funny bone, they take it into a dark room and diddle it.”

The show began back in 2015 where writers Sarah Glenister and Gaz Farnell collaborated with actors Hannah Blakeley, Lynne Payne & Patrick McConnell. The team went on to perform on the PBH Free Fringe at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015.

Operation Perfect Teaset has since welcomed Sophie Toland to the group and their full-length sketch show has been seen in numerous venues Nationally. They can also be viewed on Amazon Prime in "Operation Perfect Teaset presents Naughty Naughty!"
